Oral Ionic Calcium Gel is a calcium dietary supplement used to help cows maintain appropriate calcium levels throughout the critical pre-calving and early post-calving phase. Calcium Gel is a non-irritating source of calcium in the form of a bland vegetable oil gel that is convenient to use. A trace of oil may develop in the gel. This is typical and has no bearing on the usage of the product. The suggested starting dose for freshening dairy cattle is one tube of gel administered before or after calving.
